I love the way this recipe make perfectly cakey and soft with extra drippy chocolate glaze and if you like colors then you can add some on the top too, I love to eat something in the morning with my tea and I love homemade cupcake, but not anymore, I just make doughnuts and enjoy the chocolate cake for breakfast and you can warm it up too and it will not sabotage the look at all. Ingredients to make Double Chocolate Cake Doughnuts
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
Half teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
Half cup of light brown sugar
Half cup of buttermilk
One large egg
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melt it until it turns brown
One teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
A pinch of salt
4 tablespoons whole milk
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F and spray a doughnut baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside, now we will take a medium bowl and mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and brown sugar together, mix supper smooth and then take a small bowl and mix buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined and then add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and fold together until it become creamy and smooth make sure it is well mixed.
Now take your tray and use a small spoon to portion batter into the prepared doughnut baking pan and fill each doughnut mold about two-thirds and bake in preheated oven for 11 to 13 minutes or until a skewer inserted into one of the doughnuts comes out clean, now remove it from the oven and let it cool down before we apply chocolate to finish Double Chocolate Cake Doughnuts.
